A New Beginning

[We open up and see TJ Alexander standing in front of the mirror inside of his bathroom of a hotel room. TJ who is wearing some blue jeans and a black hooded jacket]

“In a few days time a new wrestling company will make itself heard throughout the wrestling business, I have been fortunate to be able to be one of the first people to sign with Pro Wrestling Excellence, my name is TJ Alexander, and in the coming up show everyone will find out exactly who I am. In a few days Pro Wrestling Excellence will debut its first ever show called Victory – The First victory, and I am one of the youngest talents, if not the youngest talents signed already to a stacked roster. And just like the company itself, I have a point to prove.”

[TJ stands still in the bathroom leaning over the sink, and repeating a sentence]

“I have only been competing in the United States now for a little over a year and I have succeeded everywhere I have gone. And I am planning on succeeding here in PWE, but I know I have a tough battle ahead. I know that even in my first match at Victory – The First Victory, I have several high top tier talents that I will stand and stare across from me in the ring, guys like, Kai Driscoll, Jace Koufax, Tara Ayla, and William Blake Mason have all had more experience than I do, it is only myself and Chelsea Skye who have equal experience in this match.”


[TJ Looks himself into the mirror and feels the nerves slowly creeping in]

“I find myself in this contest pitting myself against a multitude of talents from all backgrounds and skill, some I know of and some I don’t, but this match is all about surviving and I have a little more advantage than the others in this match.”

“Room service” Says the member of staff

[TJ Stands there looking through the eye-hole for a few seconds later, he then turns the handle of the door and opens the door for the member of staff]

“Sir, here is you’re double veggie burger with fries and a diet coke” Room services says

“Yeah just place it on the table” TJ replies

[TJ reaches into his pocket and pulls out a brown leather wallet and pulls out a $10 dollar note for the member of staff and hands it to him on the way out]

“There you go pal” TJ says

“Thank you sir, have a good day” Member of staff says

[The member of staff swiftly leaves the room as TJ closes the door behind him, turns and heads back into the bathroom to stand in front of the mirror]

“Six people have the chance to qualify to go and face-off against the winner of Match three, and that is going to be me. I am going to show everyone in PWE that I am the heart of this new company, that I have the passion and I have the determination to battle through anything that is put against me and I will achieve success. Firstly I am going to direct my attention to my opponents, and first is Jace Koufax, a guy who has 11 years in the business and is one tough son of a bitch, from what I have seen but not only have you got to worry about five other opponents Jace Koufax, you have to worry about your wife too, who is in match four of this tournament, what are you going to do Jace IF The Bomb qualifies and you qualify? Are you going to give the glory to your wife and allow her to go through and beat you? Bet not, I bet that you will grab that glory from your wife and that will put a length between your marriage, if I was you Jace Koufax, I would step away from this match completely as it is a personal conflict.”


[TJ Pauses for a breath]


“From what I see I am one of the youngest talents on the roster and that to me says that I am going the distance, I am going the distance and I’ll be the last man standing, it says that my body is practically fresh and raring to go. It says I have a little more agility and wrestling prowess to be fully aware of my surroundings. Unlike some of my opponents who have had years built on their broken bodies and the longer this match last is also going to be an advantage for me as those’ veteran’s will definitely feel hurt on their bodies.”


[TJ Smiles into the camera]


“Guys like Kai Driscoll who have used his body as a battering ram against his opponents and used brute force to beat and overcome his opponents, but Kai Driscoll, I’m not like your previous opponents, you see Kai I am better than anyone you’ve ever faced and or will ever face-off because I have all the time in the world to get better, while you are dwindling down your career, while you are on your last legs, my body is thriving and stealing the show. While your body will be slow and sluggish, you will not be able to catch me because my body will be fast and agile, and this is no disrespect, but this isn’t your time, it’s mine.”


[TJ Pauses while staring into the camera]


“Then we have is William Blake Mason and he is someone who is smart, cunning, conniving and mostly a sleaze-bag, not only is he a sleaze-bag but he is an over-the-top pompous arsehole, and I’ll gladly kick him in the head.”


[TJ Smiles]


“Then we have Tara Alya who has only recently returned to the wrestling business and as much as she has said that her honing her skills while she has been away, I bet she has lost a step, more than just lost a step, she has backtracked herself a mile behind everyone else, Tara you’ve been away for four years, you will have ring rust, and everyone else has gotten better, you will be the first to be eliminated.”


[TJ Smirks]


“Then we have Chelsea Skye, the other youngest talent on the roster who have signed up in hopes of making it big, but Chelsea this isn’t going to be you’re night, getting through this match is going to be me and I am walking away as the victor, sure you and I could tear the house down if we meet in the ring, but ultimately I am standing tall and being the last man in this match, just know that.”


[TJ Walks back into the bedroom as the scene fades off]
